Samsara prepares to go public

San Francisco-based cloud platform designed to manage vehicle fleets and industrial operations Samsara is aiming for an $11.5 billion valuation in its upcoming public debut. The company plans to raise up to $805 million in the IPO by selling 35 million shares priced between $20 and $23 per share.

Founded in 2015, Samsara was last valued at $5.40 billion after it closed a $700 million Series F round in May 2020 led by Dragoneer Investment Group, Warburg Pincus, and General Atlantic.
