Calm acquires Ripple Health Group

San Francisco-based relaxation app Calm has acquired healthtech start-up Ripple Health Group designed to connect patients with healthcare providers. Ripple’s CEO David Ko will now serve as Calm’s co-CEO alongside Calm co-founder Michael Acton Smith.

Named Apple's App of the Year in 2017 and Editors’ Choice app by Google in 2018, Calm was last valued at $2.00 billion after its $75 million Series C round in December 2019.
