Alchemy raises $250 million

Blockchain development platform Alchemy has raised $250 million of Series C venture funding that values the company at $3.5 billion just six months after closing an $80 million Series B round at a $505 million valuation. The latest round was led by Andreessen Horowitz.

Alchemy reportedly processes over $45 billion in transaction volume for companies around the globe and demand for the start-up’s offerings and revenue grew 15x since its last raise in April.
